Playgroup 't Speelkasteel

A unique location for a playgroup, in the children's play paradise "het Speelkasteel". This allows the toddlers to move and play indoors even in bad weather. The playgroup only uses the Play Castle when it is closed to other visitors. The play castle has a separate play structure for children from 2 to 4 years.

The playgroup has two bright group rooms (85m2) with an adjacent outdoor area (160 m2), with play equipment. In addition to the private outdoor space, there is also the outdoor space of the play paradise, which can also be used to the full, for example the giant air trampoline.

We work with the pre-school education program Uk and Puk, in which playing is central. The different themes are in line with the perception of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. For each theme, activities have been developed for these three age groups. The activities can easily be integrated into the daily routine. In the activities, there is attention  to the four development domains: language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development and calculation stimulation.

In addition to regular playgroup, you can also go to this location for pre-school education (VE) if your child has an indication for this by the consultation office. For the VE groups there is weekly extra supervision from a HBO-trained tutor.

The playgroup is open during school weeks (08:30-12:30) and continues during the school holidays of the primary schools in Hoofddorp.
